01 About These Terms

GAMEHEAD CAPS is an online shop operated by GAMESCHEAP LTD. We sell everyday headwear, including flat caps, beanies, bucket hats and baseball caps, through our website for delivery to customers across the United Kingdom.

These Terms & Conditions explain the main arrangements that apply when you browse our website or place an order. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Express Shipping Policy and Return and Exchange Policy.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have had a reasonable opportunity to read these terms. A purchase contract is formed in accordance with Section 04 below. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not submit an order.

These terms take effect immediately when published on the website. They do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an order already placed or alter an existing contract without a lawful basis.

02 Eligibility and Website Use

You may browse our website to view products, check prices and make purchases for personal use or other lawful purposes. When placing an order, you must provide accurate information needed to process payment and deliver the goods.

  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding purchase contract.
  • Your name, email, delivery details and order information must be accurate and complete.
  • You must use the website in a lawful manner and must not knowingly interfere with its normal operation.
  • You should check your order details carefully before submitting payment.

If information is incomplete or appears inconsistent, we may contact you to clarify it before dispatch. If we cannot reasonably complete an order, we will explain the issue and, where the order has been paid for but cannot proceed, arrange an appropriate refund.

03 Products and Descriptions

We aim to present each hat with a clear product name, description, price and relevant details. Please review the product page carefully before ordering, particularly where a product listing specifies its style, material, colour, fit or available options.

Product photographs are provided to help you understand the item. The colour shown on your screen may vary slightly depending on your display settings and lighting. Such minor differences do not change the product’s stated specifications or our obligation to supply goods that conform to their description.

If an important product detail is unclear, please contact us before placing the order. We will do our best to clarify the information available to us.

Nothing in this section excludes your statutory rights if a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the standards required by law.

04 Orders and Acceptance

When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected goods at the displayed price and under the applicable terms. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your request; it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We accept an order when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first under the checkout arrangements communicated to you. The contract will then cover the items and price confirmed for that order.

Before acceptance, we may need to clarify delivery details, check stock availability or correct an obvious listing or pricing error. If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, we will notify you and arrange a refund for the amount paid for the unfulfilled order.

Please check your confirmation email after checkout. If you notice an incorrect item or delivery detail, contact us promptly. We will try to make a correction where the order has not already been processed or dispatched.

An order cannot always be changed after dispatch. In that situation, you may use the applicable cancellation, return or exchange arrangements described in our published policies.

05 Prices and Payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless the website clearly states otherwise. The price shown at checkout is the amount payable for the selected products and any applicable charges disclosed before you submit the order.

Standard UK delivery is free. We will display any additional charge that applies to an optional service before you confirm your purchase. We will not add an undisclosed mandatory charge after you have placed an order.

Payment must be completed through the payment options made available at checkout. An order will normally enter processing after successful payment confirmation.

If a displayed price contains an obvious error, we will take reasonable steps to contact you before proceeding where the error is identified before acceptance. If the order cannot be honoured at the incorrect price, we will explain the available options and refund any payment taken for an order that we do not fulfil.

Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider processing times may affect when the funds appear in your account.

06 Stock and Availability

We hold stock locally and replenish individual product lines as needed. Availability can change as customers place orders, so a product shown on the website may occasionally become unavailable before an order is accepted or processed.

We aim to keep product information current and to process orders for available items promptly. If an item becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where we cannot supply an item, we may offer an alternative if you wish to consider it. We will not substitute a different product without your agreement. If no suitable arrangement is reached, we will cancel the affected item and refund the amount paid for it.

07 Delivery and Shipping

We currently offer free standard shipping on orders delivered within the United Kingdom. Delivery arrangements and any available options will be shown during checkout or in the Express Shipping Policy.

Our usual processing and delivery targets are:

  • Order processing: normally 1–2 working days after successful payment confirmation.
  • Standard delivery after dispatch: normally 2–5 working days.
  • Estimated total delivery time: usually 3–7 working days from payment confirmation.

These are normal service estimates, not a guarantee that every parcel will arrive within the stated period. Bank holidays, severe weather, postal disruption, incorrect delivery details and other events outside our reasonable control may cause delays.

If a parcel has not arrived within the expected period, please contact us with your order reference. We will check the available tracking information and help investigate the delivery.

We remain responsible for delivery obligations imposed by applicable consumer law. A delivery estimate or exceptional event does not remove any cancellation or refund right that the law provides.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied at checkout is complete and accurate. If a parcel is delayed or returned because details were entered incorrectly, contact us so we can discuss the available options. Any additional costs will be explained before a new arrangement is agreed.

08 Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges

Most online purchases of goods in the UK carry a statutory cancellation period of 14 calendar days after the day the goods are received. Where that right applies, you can notify us of your decision to cancel within that period and normally have a further 14 calendar days to send the goods back.

To request a cancellation or return, email sales@gameheadcaps.com with your order reference and a clear explanation of what you would like to do.

Our standard customer service return period is 30 calendar days from delivery for eligible requests. This is an additional store policy and does not replace statutory cancellation rights or other legal remedies.

  • First approved return or exchange: we cover the shipping cost.
  • Further return or exchange requests: shipping costs are assessed individually and explained before you agree to proceed.
  • Faulty or incorrect goods: we will provide the remedy and cover reasonable return costs where required by law.
  • Change of mind: goods should be kept in good condition. Any lawful deduction for handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods will be explained.

Approved refunds are normally submitted to the original payment method within 2 working days after approval. Banks or payment providers usually take a further 5–10 working days to display the funds, although actual processing times may vary.

For statutory cancellations, we will refund within the legal deadline. Where permitted by law, we may wait until the goods have been returned or evidence of return shipment has been provided, whichever occurs first.

Please read our full Return and Exchange Policy for eligibility, exclusions, return instructions and further refund information. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

09 Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Products supplied must meet the standards required by applicable law, including requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and conformity with their description.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Please provide your order reference and explain the issue. Photographs may help us understand the circumstances, but we will not make them an unnecessary condition of a valid statutory claim.

Depending on the circumstances and the applicable legal requirements, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or another remedy. We will explain the available next steps after reviewing the information.

Our request that customers contact us promptly about a delivery problem is intended to help resolve it efficiently. It does not shorten any statutory period or remove a remedy available under law.

10 Website Content and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website, product listings, prices and other information accurate and accessible. However, online content may occasionally contain a mistake or may not immediately reflect a stock or product update.

We may update product descriptions, photographs, page layouts and other website content when reasonably necessary. Changes to the website do not alter an accepted order’s agreed terms unless you agree or the change is otherwise permitted by law.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, connectivity problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to restore normal service when interruptions occur.

Nothing in these terms guarantees uninterrupted website access or that every technical issue can be resolved immediately. This does not exclude any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11 Liability and Exceptional Events

We are responsible for supplying goods and providing the services associated with your order in accordance with the contract and applicable law.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events that are outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, interruptions to postal services, utility failures or wider technical outages. Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with you and minimise the impact.

You are responsible for providing accurate order information and using products in a reasonable manner consistent with their intended purpose. We cannot accept responsibility for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by you or misuse of a product, to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed and that do not arise from a breach for which we are legally responsible. This wording does not remove any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or restrict.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights relating to product quality, product descriptions, cancellation, delivery or refunds.

12 Privacy and Personal Information

We use the information you provide to process orders, arrange delivery, respond to enquiries and manage returns or refunds. Information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

We share relevant information with service providers, such as delivery companies and payment-processing services, where reasonably necessary to complete an order or provide customer support.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is collected, used, retained and protected, and how you can exercise applicable data rights.

13 Complaints and Contact

If something has not gone as expected, please contact us first. Include your order reference, a brief description of the issue and the outcome you would like us to consider.

We aim to acknowledge enquiries within 2 working days and provide a substantive response as soon as reasonably possible. More complex matters may take longer if we need information from a delivery provider or another relevant party.

We will review the information provided and explain the next steps. This target is a customer service aim and does not extend any legal deadline.

14 Governing Law

These terms and any contract for goods purchased through the website are governed by the laws applicable in the relevant part of the United Kingdom.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory protections available under the law that applies to your circumstances. Any dispute will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction under the applicable legal rules.

If a particular provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A provision will not be interpreted to remove a statutory right that cannot lawfully be waived.
